MAJOR
Albert Mayverstyn Rank: Colonel Suit: Advanced, Blue
Text: Light Blue First Appearance: Strip 1 Albert is the son of a war hero - a Spartan that assisted in the defense of Earth during the initial Covenant invasion. After his father's death, he inherited the Mayverstyn Production Corporation. Along with becoming famous for his oil and metal monopolies, Albert became one of the most known figures in Human Space Economics. He owns estates on every planet that contains any kind of MPC facilities, although he only uses a few of them. He most recently spent several months on Aras, trying to make his company more friendly to the local people, and, for the most part, his plan worked. He fought against the Covenant in several defensive operations, and trains in combat tactics in case of an attack. Each of his estates features training grounds along with large armories, and he is always wary of what may come next.
Gabe Raderman Rank: Unranked (Body Guard) Suit: Standard, Black [UPDATE : Advanced, Tan]
Text: Grey First Appearance: Strip 1 Gabe is the servant and friend of Albert. He is also a financial manager and strategist of the Mayverstyn Production Corporation, along with being a weapons modifier for Albert. His background does not contain much combat history, although he has fought and trained with Albert on many occasions. He is very conservative with ammo, and his few shots are often more deadly than simply spraying rounds randomly.
Mark Hagan Rank: Corporal Suit: Advanced, White
Text: Blue First Appearance: Strip 34 Mark is a heavy weapons and vehicles specialist. He was initially drafted into military service during the final Covenant campaign after Earth's invasion. With Albert as his leader, he realized that he did not want to just be another regular gunner. He decided to grab as many rockets as he could and start destroying the Covenant. Following his brief military career, Mark has trained with numerous heavy weapons such as rocket launchers, fuel rod cannons, flamethrowers, and chainguns, but also balances it out with SMG training in order to prevent being caught without ammo or unable to use his heavier weapons. He came to Aras to further his training with Albert, and to assist, where possible, with MPC issues.
Alejandro Sanchez Rank: Sergeant Suit: Advanced, Yellow
Text: Red First Appearance: Strip 2 Alejandro is a sniper for the Aras Military Corps. His aim is unmatched, and many soldiers would give anything to be under his protection. His parents were snipers in his native Mexico, and fought bravely against the Covenant invasion. They trained him to become a sniper when he was young, and he continued his career, often volunteering to go on the most perilous of missions in order to test his skills. He left for Aras to open a sniper training facility, which has not yet been completed. Supposedly, he is a member of an organization known as the Knights of Aras, and trains using a sword constructed of rare materials able to resist the destructive properties of plasma.
Kristine Maraichio Rank: Sergeant Suit: Advanced, Green
Text: Pink First Appearance: Strip 17 Kristine was raised on a now-destroyed planet that was in constant contact with renegade elites. Her home planet developed embassies with these exiles, and they exchanged much equipment and knowledge. Because of this, Kristine has trained in the use of Covenant weaponry since a young age. She is one of the few Spartans whose specialization lies entirely in Covenant weapons. This makes her particularly useful in combat with the Covenant, although she is reluctant to fight renegade forces. Since her training, she has developed a strong relationship with Corporal Tim McIntyre, and both complement each other perfectly in combat, often making it a necessity for both to be deployed at the same place and time.
Tim McIntyre Rank: Corporal Suit: ODST
Text: Green First Appearance: Strip 16 Tim has always had two goals in life - to become a stealthy assassin, and galactic domination. His domination goal has never been accomplished, but he still holds on to the hope that one day he will dominate something. In terms of his assassin training, he trained for years as an ODST to enable him to be dropped to areas with ease. His assassin training taught him the finer points of ammo conservation, stealth, utilizing local environment, and the best ways to use his combat dagger, built with the same materials as Alejandro's KoA sword. As stated above, he complements Kristine perfectly in combat, and the both of them usually end up fighting side to side after the rest of their allies have either fled or been killed.
Nameless Elite [UPDATED: Scipio] Rank: Rank Removed (Covenant Failure Ritual) [UPDATED: Templar] Suit: Elite, Blue [UPDATE : Elite, Ranger]
Text: Purple First Appearance: Strip 7 / Strip 20 Little is known about this Elite's early history. Even he doesn't know much. What is known is that during a very tense mission, mistakes of his led to the deletion of his name, rank, and all his history. He was exiled from the Covenant, and has since joined a growing rank of renegade elites. As most elites, he is skilled at using a plasma sword, but has also developed a skillful aim with the Battle Rifle. His now-forgotten combat history has taught him much about the operation of Plasma Rifles, and he has become a particularly dangerous foe on the battlefield.
The Arbiter Rank: Arbiter Suit: Elite, Arbiter Ceremonial
Text:
Orange First Appearance: Strip 34 The Covenant lost the Arbiter of the modern era during a mission long ago. Since his initial use, the Prophets used him for terror-themed anti-enemy missions, usually against the humans. It was his job to ensure a clean, untraceable job, and he was forced to cause a great deal of damage over time. During a failed mission to destroy a UNSC shipyard deep in Human Space, he was reported Missing in Action. He has always resented how the Prophets used him, and it is often speculated by the Covenant that he purposely fled from service. The Prophets were aware of this, and sent out squads of Hunter Elites to find him. They would also stage large attacks and invasion merely to attract him. His current location or affiliation is unknown.
MINOR Lee Lemon Rank: Master Sergeant Suit: Advanced, Steel
Text: Black First Appearance: Not Yet Seen... Master Sergeant Lee Lemon is the commander of the Aras Drop Squad. He organizes the different squads and commands their moves. Although he hardly appears in combat, he is a skilled leader, and is adept and getting most jobs done with little or no losses. When he must fight, he uses standard-issue weapons because, when he was younger, those were the only weapons he trained with. Before becoming a Master Sergeant, Lee was a field commander, and would often lead his squads into victory. After working his way up the ranks as an ODST, he soon became their leader.
Cassandra Mayverstyn Rank: Unranked (Not in Military Service) Suit: none
Text: Black First Appearance: Not Yet... Cassandra Mayverstyn is Albert's seldom-seen wife. Although not formally trained in combat, she is familiar with the use of two modified Magnums given to her by Gabe. Because of the sometimes dangerous nature of the Mayverstyn Corporation, she is often found on terraformed Mars, well away from the dangerous combat that seems to follow her husband.
FACTION
Hunter Elites Rank: Hunter Elite(s) Suit: Elite, Purple
Text: Black First Appearance: Strip 33 The Hunter Elites are the elite soldiers of the Covenant trained as assassin and covert ops. They are deployed in high-stakes missions by the Prophets, and are used in attempts to locate the lost Arbiter. They are well trained in using all manner of weapons, and are held in high respect among other Covenant.
SB Leader Rank: N/A Suit: Standard, Black
Text: Red Outlined White First Appearance: Strip 6 In SB squads, the Leader leads the squad into combat. Carrying a shotgun, he is usually at the front of close-combat assaults, but, excluding his importance for planning, is otherwise useless.
SB Gunner Rank: N/A Suit: Standard, Red
Text: Red Outlined White First Appearance: Strip 6 The gunner is a dangerous member of SB squads. Wearing reinforced armor and using an assortment of assault weapons, he fearlessly heads into combat with the sole intent of causing damage. Whenever rockets are to be found, he will be there to ensure that the enemies of SB get a heaping helping of explosive pain. In most cases, unfortunately, his fearlessness and valor makes him to first to die.
SB Stealth Rank: N/A Suit: Standard, Blue
Text: Red Outlined White First Appearance: Strip 6 In every SB squad is a stealth-based soldier. Skilled with silenced weapons, he is able to move quickly and quietly, and kill with the same speed and lack of sound. In most cases, he is the second to last person to die in a squad, the first being the Sniper.
SB Medic Rank: N/A Suit: Standard, White
Text: Red Outlined White First Appearance: Strip 6 The SB Medic is, well, the medic of the group. He's in charge of administering medical aid to those injured, and decided whether it is more beneficial to carry the injured or leave them. This makes them a very integral part of SB squads.
SB Sniper Rank: N/A Suit: Covenant Drone
Text: Red Outlined White First Appearance: Strip 12 The Sniper is not actually human, rather, Covenant Drone. Due to their easy control and incredible aim, they make perfect additions to most SB Squads, and are a perfect enemy for most other people.
Knight Rank: Varying Suit: Varying
Text: Black First Appearance: Strip 25 Knights of Aras are distinguished by their ceremonial sword, usually found strapped to their back. Skilled with melee combat and trained with specific weapons, they make powerful soldiers, but their numbers have, in recent times, begun to run low. Occasionally, Knights may be recalled for use in large-scale battles, and their numbers usually can turn the tide of most battles.
